The infrared sauna differs from traditional saunas in that a dry heat of up to 60°C develops inside it. Infrared penetrates the body by up to 4 mm and acts by raising the temperature of the irradiated body tissues. In this way a number of beneficial effects are developed, such as relaxation of contracted muscles, increased blood flow and organic detoxification.
The treatment is particularly suitable for improving sports performance, relieving persistent pain, normalizing blood pressure and reducing chronic fatigue.
